In the latest baseball news, the Los Angeles Dodgers has released Trevor Bauer after a long suspension. Trevor was the right-handed pitcher who is now officially a free agent. Trading him will be impossible, as it would be very risky to have him and pay him the $22.5 million owed to Bauer for 2023. Technically, the Dodgers will be paying for the multimillion amount, and whoever gets him will pay the prorated amount of the $720,000 league minimum for the year.

We do now know which teams are interested in signing him, but we do know who has not. Baseball betting fans will not be surprised that teams like the Mets, Yankees, Padres, Giants, and the Twins would not be interested. Given the issues surrounding him, it will be hard to find a team for him to move with.

This also cost Bauer around $28 million in pay. The Dodgers reiterate that they believe that allegations of domestic violence of sexual assault be investigated well. They have been compliant with the policy of the MLB on the matter. Now that the suspension has been finished, they are deciding to cut ties with the player.
